The new Nano announced by Steve Jobs this week seems not like a cutting edge design leap, as Apple are known by, but a step back in the iPod evolution.
Whilst no doubt being good looking, it has more in common with the Mini iPod, than it's genetic older sibling, the Nano. Whether it's the brushed aluminium casing, or the rounded edges, Apple are already feeling the wrath of bloggers worldwide, who feel cheated by Mr Jobs.
Luckily for him, the announcement was more than just the new Nano, with a new iTunes announced which will include a video store (albeit in the US only currently), a new Shuffle, and some software updates on all the new models. He also announced a massive 80GB iPod, which will hold about 20,000 songs. You need never listen to the same song more than once!
I have a new nano in blue 4gb.
It is very similar to the ipod mini but has a slightly menu system, and a colour screen and has flash memory not a hard disk
